Berrios’ Resolution Urging Congress to Pass Legislation to Include Poland in Visa Waiver Program Passed

CHICAGO, IL – State Rep. Maria A. “Toni” Berrios (D-Chicago) passed a resolution Wednesday that urges Congress to include Poland to the federal Visa Waiver Program.

“Congress has an opportunity to improve immigration policy for the citizens of Poland and positively affect our tourism economy,” Berrios said. “Chicago is home to one the largest Polish populations in the country and it’s critical to add Poland to the Waiver Program so we can improve our tourism economy.”
