Each spring, Representative Berrios hosts annual Women’s Wellness and Resource Health Fairs where participants have the opportunity to receive free blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol screenings along with information on accessing state, county and city health programs.
Just before the start of a new school year, Representative Berrios hosts annual Back to School Health Fairs that offer free immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, hair cuts and backpacks filled with school supplies.

Representative Berrios has hosted multiple Job Fairs in the 39th District where constituents received the opportunity to meet directly with hiring representatives from an array of businesses.
The summer of 2012, Representative Berrios hosted her first ever Responsible Pet Ownership Series that featured a low cost Dog Nail Trimming Service, a Dog Traning Class and a low cost Vaccine Clinic. Events were partnered with local community businesses to help constituents learn how to be responsible pet parents.

For the first time, Representative Berrios hosted a free workout series for the 39th District to promote fun and unique ways to stay healthy and active. Representative Berrios partnered with local businesses and provided a free Zumba Class, Martial Arts Class and Yoga Class.

In efforts to prevent identity theft and promote environmental sustainability, Representative Berrios has hosted a few Shred Days for local residents and local businesses to bring their sensitive information to be shredded on-site and then recycled for free.
